Put A Bow On It

The shirt is a staple garment, a basic that never will go out of fashion. Depending on the season there is always a new model that takes the spotlight. It can be mixed and matched in an eternity and is one of those pieces that will never die out.

This season a lot of focus have been put on experimental with the shirt, not only adding small details or elongating the sleeves or the lengths. No, this season the imagination of the wearer is in focus and the creativity of the mind. It has been worn backwards, buttoned in different ways and like me today, bowed. This long sweater with its open side makes it easy to knot together in the front creating a nice bow. Yet another way to give my shirt a new life would be adding the sides to the back and voilà yet another way to wear the shirt has been created. In the end it's all abut using your imagination and finding new ways to wear your staple garments, may it be a shirt or whatever else you have hiding in your closet. Rethink and reuse!

Skjortan är ett stapel plagg, en bas som aldrig kommer bli omodern. Beroende på säsong så är det alltid en ny modell som tar huvudrollen. Den kan matchas i oändligheten och är en av de plaggen som aldrig kommer dö ut.

Den här säsongen har det lagts mycket fokus på att experimentera med skjortan, inte bara att man lagt till små detaljer eller förlängt armslängden och längden. Nej, den här säsongen är det bärarens fantasi i fokus och ens kreativa sinne. Den har vart sett buren baklänges, knäppt på många olika sätt och som jag idag, knuten. Ännu ett sätt att ge min skjorta ett nytt liv skulle vara att knyta ihop sidorna med bakdelen och volià en helt ny look har åstadkommits. I slutändan handlar det helt och hållet om att använda ens fantasi och att hitta nya sätt att bära ens stapel plagg, må det vara en skjorta eller vad som helst som finns gömt i garderoben. Tänk om och återanvänd!
