A great way to see a city is through viewing it from a roof top bar. I think that you get a totally different perspective of it when doing so and you also get the chance to see how everything is built up. I have always loved the contrast between old and new buildings and my weak spot is the old ones. In Lisbon there are probably a few roof tops to choose between but we only had a few days so we decided to visit Park Rooftop bar which is located in Bairro Alto.

The bar is on the top of a parking lot and the entrance was a bit difficult to find but just ask the guy who looks after the cars and he will guide you 😄 This is a very popular place so would recommend you to be there latest around 18.00 if you would like to have the chance to catch a table and watch the sunset, otherwise you will have to stand up (they don't take reservations). This is the perfect place to watch the sunset and they also serve food which you can enjoy together with nice music and a beautiful view!

Ett bra sätt att upptäcka en stad är att se den från en takterrass. Personligen tycker jag att man får ett helt annat perspektiv på hur den är uppbyggd. Jag har alltid älskat kontrasten mellan gammalt och nytt och är väldigt svag för sådant som är gammalt och har en historia att berätta. I Lissabon finns det säkerligen en massa olika takterasser men eftersom vi bara var där några dagar så bestämde vi oss för att gå till Park Rooftop som ligger i Bairro Alto.

Terassen är byggd ovanpå ett parkeringshus och det var lite svårt att hitta vart ingången var men oroa er inte, det är bara att fråga personen som vaktar bilarna och han/hon kommer visa er vägen 😄Det här stället är väldigt populärt och om ni vill ha en chans att få en sitt plats så skulle jag rekommendera att ni är där senast kl 18.00 (de tar inga reservationer) så att ni kan sitta ner och njuta av solnedgången. Om inte kan man alltid stå upp! De serverar också mat ifall man skulle bli hungrig.
